In the spring I went to Savannah with mom and Kathy. My kids were thrown for a loop as I rarely go anywhere by myself. But I really needed it and I had such a nice time. We stopped in to see Aunt Irma and Uncle Walt before heading on to Savannah. They are doing great!
We went on a tour of Savannah. We went down in the old warehouse district. I really liked the old cotton exchange where the cotton was offloaded from its trip up the river and sold at auction. Savannah is supposed to be the most haunted place in the U.S. There were lots of ghost stories. There is a night time ghost tour which I would like to take if I get back there again.

There were so many beautiful places to see in Savannah. The old Oaks with their moss hanging off were everywhere. There were parks at every block with fountains and memorials. It was so peaceful to walk and sit quietly on a bench and just watch people go by.
Uncle Walt and Aunt Irma look great! We know how active Aunt Irma is. Never stops going. We were more tired than she was.
We were at a beautiful spot by the bay. It was pretty windy there.
